McMillan Council No.18
McMillan Council No 18, was consecrated on 1st November 1980, as an English Constitution, Council No. 128.
The Council meets at the Bairnsdale Masonic Centre, Francis Street, Bairnsdale.
Assemblies are on the 4th Wednesday, in January, March, May, July, and September, commencing at 7.00pm.
The installation is on the first Saturday in November in the afternoon.
Set up and rehearsal is at 6pm, generally on the same evening as the Assembly.
There are 21 Companions from Bairnsdale, Paynesville, Lakes Entrance, Orbost, Bruthen, Benambra, Traralgon, Sale, Longford and Morwell.

A most successful afternoon started with afternoon tea for all, a very social time to chat and calm the nerves.
This was the first installation for the new Grand team and they did a fine job.
The ladies were entertained during the ceremony and at the banquet we all enjoyed a hearty roast lamb dinner with various desserts to choose from, all supplied by the St John Anglican Ladies.
Due to the early start many of the team returned to their homes in Melbourne and for those who stayed overnight a breakfast was provided at the Masonic Centre, on the very warm and sunny Sunday morning.
